Year 7 – Unit 2 – Computer Systems
Acting as Unit 2 of the Year 7 scheme of work, this unit is an introduction to Computer Systems.

This will enable you to understand the use of the CPU, RAM, Graphics Card and Storage Devices to create a modern computer system.
Next you will budget a computer of your own, learning how to use Microsoft Excel along the way.
Finally, you will learn the difference between analogue and digital signals, before investigating the use of binary numbers to allow computers to store data.
